Dadnapped and Patriotic Program

Did anyone catch the Disney Channel's latest and greatest T.V. movie Dadnapped? As you can see my girls were glued to the screen.

Kinzie had two parts in the Patriotic program this year at school. She did such a good job!

She looked stunning up on stage. I couldn't believe my eyes. I kept thinking there is no way she is going to be allowed to wear make up anytime soon if she looks this beautiful and grown up.

Can you believe that's little "K"?

Whitney enjoyed two performances and a dress rehearsal. Or was it the mini M&M's she enjoyed? Oh well, whichever it was she was quiet as a mouse.

Monster Truck Jam. Yes, you read it correctly!!

I knew my family and anyone who knows me would NEVER believe that I went to Monster Truck Jam. So I took a picture with the Monster Trucks in the background to prove it. All I could think of is how much Hunter would have enjoyed it.

The girls and I decorated Valentine's cookies. We didn't get any delivered because we ate them all. Whitney knows what my sugar cookies are. As soon as she sees one she starts kicking her legs and reaching out to get one.

We ate at Sweet Tomatoes before Monster Truck Jam. It was so yummy!

Here is Whit pointing to Jake so he knows what she wants. SO polite!

Whitney loves to stand or sit at the baby gate. Waiting to be let free.

Here Comes Trouble...

Whitney is crawling all over the house. Tonight she found the kitchen drawers.

She loved emptying the pots and pans. Until she kept dropping them onto the tile and it was so loud it scared her. We wiped her tears away and she went right back.

I ran into Rod Works for seriousley 2 mins. and came back to this. Jake said she was crying so he had to give her a sucker. Does that baby look like she's been crying? Or more like she has dad wrapped around her little finger!

I'm so glad Kinzie isn't too old to wear matching outfits with her lil sis.

Whitney loves to wave to everyone and everything. She waves to people, Rufus, the T.V., the camera, food and herself.

Pure joys of motherhood

If waking up to this adorable smiling face doesn't brighten up your day I don't know what would. Whitney looks up at me like this then buries her face in her mattress then back up again all the while kicking her legs as fast as she can. Now if she could do that for her middle of the night feedings I would look forward to those also.
These sisters love and adore each other so much. The other day Mckinzie told me that "Whitney has changed her life and she couldn't live without her". Mckinzie is such a little mother. She loves to babysit, feed whitney her food, dress her in cute outfits, dance together to the Jonas Brothers, and carry her everywhere. While we wait outside Kinzie's school each day I hold Whitney and she watches all the kids come out. When she spots Kinzie she kicks and jumps up and down and has the biggest smile.

christmas

The girls waited patiently to come downstairs.
Whitney spent her first Christmas sick. This was as enthusiastic as she got all day.

We surprised Kinzie with a pink cell phone. She was so shocked that she burst into tears.

Temple Square Christmas Lights

Isn't the temple beautiful at night.
Whitney was so bundled up that she couldn't move. When we would talk to her only her eyes would move towards our voices.

We rode downtown on Trax. The girls loved it.

Whitney didn't make a sound all night. She just stared at everything. As much as I complained about going out in the cold. I must admit the lights were beautiful.

Thanksgiving in Arizona

While in Arizona we visited a ghost town.
Here's Whitney playing with Hunter's book.

Whitney's first taste of mashed potatoes and yams.

Our FAVORITE restaurant in Arizona. Gecko's. Yum yum!!
